CACOPHONY

CACOPHONY, the work of Erika Rier and her partner Joel Fleminger,  is about the daily noise that surrounds us — the trivial, the funny, the serious, the essential, and the noise we wish we could ignore. When we sit with it, let it wash over us, the chaos begins to speak. Hidden within are the messages we need to hear, even when they’re uncomfortable or raw. The front gallery hums with Erika’s illustrative ceramics and a cozy nook of zines; the back is filled with her husband, Joe Fleminger's, vibrant abstractions — a union of color, form, and love, made in matrimony and creativity.
